Lac La Biche Annual Pow Wow Days Lac La Biche Friday, August 2 through Monday, August 5, 2013. Celebrating the past 51 years and those to come, this annual festival's goal is to deliver a blend of family-friendly activities to celebrate Lac La Biche's deeply rooted history of first nation culture and fun-filled family summer activities.
The festival kicks-off Friday, August 2 with a parade through the streets of downtown with live music and community floats handing out candy and treats to spectators. From there, other events like the water bomber demonstration along the lake shore of McArthur Park Beach, and the midway and Pow Wow grounds open with FREE GATE ADMISSION (all weekend long)! The rest of the weekend is full of sporting events and entertainment around town including a special concert at the Bold Center on Saturday, August 3 featuring Julian Austin, Brett Kissel, and Desjarlais and Company.
What a way to spend a weekend - family entertainment, fishing, ball tournaments and midway rides!!!
